STUDENTS

Chris is an amazing teacher. He gives a thorough explanation through his class and is always ready to assist you on a one-on-one level. I entered the class not knowing much about photography but left with the basic knowledge needed to get started and I have now asked my mum to buy me a camera for my next birthday.

"IT WAS AMAZING, I NOW KNOW WHAT 'DEAD SPACE' IS AND I LOVED BEING A PHOTO JOURNALIST AT THE SCHOOL FOR A DAY... THANK YOU MR. CHRIS"

EDUCATOR

Chris Owen from Kids Camera Clubs provided a truly exceptional photography experience with a fascinating overview of the history of photography, capturing the students' interest from the start. Chris then guided the students through the basics of using a DSLR camera, including understanding aperture, shutter speed, and ISO. His clear and engaging teaching style made these concepts easy to grasp.

After mastering the technical aspects, the students learned about composition techniques such as the rule of thirds, leading lines, and symmetry. They then put their new skills to the test, taking vibrant photographs that represented the dynamic life of street photography.

Chris's passion for photojournalism and dedication to teaching makes the sessions enjoyable and educational. The students are often enthused and inspired, and their newfound confidence in using a DSLR camera is often evident.

“I highly recommend Chris for his outstanding ability to engage and educate young photographers learn the craft of reporting and storytelling”.
