WHAT WE DO
ABOUT US
We inspire children to express themselves through photojournalism by fostering creativity and curiosity. We provide young photographers with the tools and guidance to capture their world, tell stories through images, and develop technical skills. By exploring diverse subjects and perspectives, children gain confidence, enhance their observational abilities, and learn to communicate powerful narratives visually, nurturing their unique voices and artistic talents.
“The aim of each course is to teach the art and science of photojournalism by blending images with words, empowering students to craft compelling stories. We focus on developing technical photography skills, enhancing visual literacy, and fostering narrative writing. By understanding the interplay between visuals and text, students learn to convey impactful messages, document reality authentically, and express their unique perspectives, preparing them for a future in media and storytelling”
PROJECT
BUILD SELF-RESPECT & SELF-IMAGE IN YOUNG PEOPLE
Our one-to-one and group photo sessions are designed to build confidence in students' photojournalism and journalism skills. These sessions provide a comprehensive approach to developing both technical proficiency and creative expression. By focusing on the use of light, colour, and composition, students learn to create visually compelling images. They receive hands-on experience with cameras and phone cameras, ensuring they can capture high-quality photos in any situation.
Additionally, the integration of words with images teaches them to craft powerful narratives, blending visual and written storytelling. Through personalised instruction and collaborative activities, students enhance their observational skills, gain technical knowledge, and learn to communicate their unique perspectives effectively.
These sessions ultimately empower students to become skilled and confident photojournalists.
"I've learned so much from the basics that I aim to get my own DLSR camera in the future."
Street Photography Course
Street photography is the art of capturing candid moments in public spaces, reflecting the everyday life and culture of urban environments.
Our course helps young students master this genre by teaching them to observe their surroundings keenly and seize spontaneous, authentic moments. They learn technical skills like composition, lighting, and camera settings, along with ethical considerations and storytelling techniques.
By practicing in real-world settings, students gain confidence and develop a unique perspective, enabling them to create compelling visual narratives that capture the essence of street life. Our supportive environment encourages creativity and hones their ability to see the extraordinary in the ordinary.
